 Word is, Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together. E! News has learned that the R&B-star duo are spending one-on-one time at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Star Island mansion in Miami Beach.
“It’s very private, you can’t see onto the property,” a source said of Combs’ nearly 13,000-square-foot beachfront home.
Earlier this week, sources said that the pair had been in touch, with Brown contacting Rihanna on her 21st birthday on Feb. 20.
A rep for the “Disturbia” singer denied that she had talked to him on the phone but… They apparently reconnected somehow.
Just before 8 p.m. ET on Friday,
People.com published a story citing an unidentified source as saying of Brown and Rihanna, “They’re together again. They care for each other. While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”
Approximately two hours later, UsMagazine.com cited a “Rihanna pal” as confirming the reunion and saying, “She’s not listening to anyone. And of course Puff [Diddy] got involved in this.”
The site also reported the pal as saying that Brown has been seen “smiling, riding a jet ski, and flexing his arm muscles,” and that Rihanna arrived four days ago.
Not an hour later, Us quoted Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, as saying, “I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I’m behind her win or lose. I will be supportive. If that’s the road she wants to choose, I’m behind her. I hope to see her soon. I talked to her after her birthday, and she told me she’s OK.” Fenty had spoken with both magazines earlier this month, and told People that he hoped Rihanna would “stand up for women all over the world” and added of Brown, “You think you know somebody, but you really don’t.”
At press time, reps for Chris Brown, Rihanna and Diddy had not responded to MTV News’ requests for comment on the reunion reports.

Kanye West weighed in on the alleged altercation between Chris Brown and Rihanna during a February 13 taping of VH1′s “Storytellers,” although his comments will not appear in the show.
According to a Reuters report, at one point during the taping, West asked the crowd, “Can’t we give Chris a break? … I know I make mistakes in life.” Brown, who was arrested during the Grammys and booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, a felony, has not been charged in the case
West also reportedly received loud applause when he followed by saying, “Michael Jackson, amazing. Michael Phelps, amazing. … He’s a real f—in’ person; he makes mistakes.” West also made a rather puzzing comment about O.J. Simpson, saying, “O.J. Simpson, amazing. Is he not? What he did, when he did, what he did. Was he not amazing, though?”

 Chris Brown has enrolled himself in anger management classes after he allegedly assaulted Rihanna over two weeks ago.
The troubled R&B singer attended his first class in Glendale, Calif., on Monday afternoon, according to the New York Daily News.
“Chris doesn’t actually have to go by law,” says an insider, “but he believes it will make him look better to the public, and he wants to try to get in a few classes before March 5,” his court date.
Apparently, Brown isn’t the only one with anger management issues. “Rihanna is temperamental, too,” according to the newspaper’s source. “They’re both too hot-headed for their own good.”
The singers may reunite at Chris Brown’s trial in Los Angeles next month where Rihanna is expected to testify.

50 Cent admittedly shows less compassion than the average person when it comes to going to war in rap battles. However, in other issues, 50 has a heart, and even he knows when to not cross the line. The Queens MC told MTV News on Tuesday afternoon (February 24) that he has changed his mind: Chris Brown and Rihanna’s alleged altercation is no laughing matter. On his Web site, ThisIs50.com, Fif has made references to the pair’s recent, apparently violent incident in the “Pimpin’ Curly” series as well as in his Saturday morning animated disses to Rick Ross. He featured Ross as a cop and Chris and Rihanna as characters from the game “Street Fighter.” “Officer Ricky” eventually arrests Brown and tosses him in jail along with Suge Knight.

When Ne-Yo found out about the allegations of violence between Chris Brown and Rihanna, he knew he couldn’t get the story from a third party. Concerned for both his friends, the singer wanted to speak to them personally.
On Monday afternoon (February 23), a still-stunned Ne-Yo offered his thoughts.
“I wanted to talk to them before I made a comment,” he said about the much-publicized incident that occurred several hours before the Grammy Awards on February 8. Brown turned himself in to police during the awards show and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats and released. “I spoke to Rihanna. She says she’s fine. She didn’t go into detail about what happened. I understand it’s a painful situation; I didn’t push.”
Like so many of Rihanna’s fans, friends and family members, Ne-Yo said he was grief-stricken after viewing the recently leaked photo of a bruised and apparently battered Rihanna shortly after her altercation with Brown.
“I saw the picture,” he said solemnly. “That just really — that hurt me to my heart, man. Again, I still don’t know what happened, ’cause I haven’t had the opportunity to talk to Chris yet. But to take it to that level really hurt my heart. All I can say is, I’m praying for both of them. They’re both in my prayers. I haven’t had a chance to talk to Chris yet. I just wanna sit down and talk to that dude and just explain if he doesn’t understand: ‘That’s not something that’s excusable, bruh. You have to get a little smarter about whatever it is going on in your relationship. You have to get a little smarter about how you handle certain situations.’ “
Still, Ne-Yo refused to be Brown’s judge and jury. “I’m not going to crucify him,” Ne-Yo said. “I’m not going to do that. That’s still my homeboy at the end of the day. For it to go to that level was wrong. I won’t say who was responsible. I won’t pick no sides. I’m just saying it was wrong [that] it had to happen like that, and I’m praying for the both of them.”

I’m sure by now you’ve all seen the photos of Rihanna. I would not post the link out of respect for Rihanna.
The LAPD has launched an internal investigation into the leak of a photo that appears to be of a bruised Rihanna following the alleged incident with Chris Brown.
The Los Angeles Police Department has launched an internal investigation and filed a personnel complaint after a photo leaked late Thursday of a person who is apparently Rihanna, following an alleged altercation with Chris Brown on Grammy weekend.
“The unauthorized release of a domestic-violence photograph immediately generated an internal investigation,” an LAPD spokesman said in statement about the photo, which appeared on TMZ. “The Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations Section began receiving numerous inquiries about the release of a photograph associated with a domestic violence incident that occurred on February 8, 2009, involving entertainer Chris Brown.”
Although it does not officially confirm that the woman in the photo is Rihanna, the statement continues, “The photograph appeared on an entertainment website. The photograph has the appearance of one taken during an official Domestic Violence investigation.”
According to CNN, the chief investigator in the case said that the department has had tried to guard against leaks. Detective Deshon Andrews told CNN that he has been keeping the case file guarded and no copies had been made of the original photos and documents.
“The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence,” the LAPD asserted in the statement. “A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination.”
Earlier Thursday, People magazine reported that a relative of Rihanna’s, whom it did not identify, said that Brown “flew so far under everyone’s radar that we just didn’t think he was that [abusive] type.” The relative added that the news came as a surprise because “he was always looking after her needs, making sure she was happy.
The timing of the leak is especially unfortunate, since Friday is Rihanna’s 21st birthday.
“I don’t want her to go back to him,” the family member said. “I don’t think anyone does.”

Embattled R&B singer Chris Brown has hired Mel Gibson’s publicist in a bid to help limit the damage his recent arrest will have on his career.
The Kiss Kiss hitmaker is facing possible jail time after he was charged by Los Angeles police with making criminal threats following a heated argument with ex-girlfriend Rihanna in the early hours of 8 February . The incident is said to have left the Umbrella star in need of hospital treatment and she has since returned to her native Barbados to recuperate.
Brown broke his silence on the day’s events on Sunday when he released a statement admitting he was “saddened” by the incident and claimed he was getting counselling from his pastor and his family.
And the 19 year old is taking further steps to salvage his pop star status – by hiring Alan Nierob, the man who saved Gibson’s movie career after his infamous anti-Semitic outburst in 2006, when he was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).
