Here is an interview with Chris from a German magazine called Bravo HipHop Special.

BHS (the magazine) met Chris in Berlin and found out a lot.

BHS: On your new album, you have worked with many Top-Artists like Will.I.Am, The Game, T-Pain. Which collaboration did you like mostly?
Chris: Honestly every collaboration was dope.
Everyone contribute their own Vibe. It makes me feel proud to have so many cool people on my album. But anyway, its important to me, not to loose my own style in songs when i have a collaborte.

BHS: With your new single “With You” you turn around girls worldwide. What does the song mean?
Chris: When i heard the song for the first time, it touched me immediatly. Therefore it was really easy for me to put my personal feelings and experiences inside it.
I think that the secret of the track is that everyone can identify themselves with it no matter how old you are.

BHS: Do u think about a special person when u perform the song?
Chris: (chris brown grins a lot) The love to my fans is the inspiration for this song. I sing it particularly for them.

BHS: And maybe for Rihanna? The whole world speaks about your romantic relationsship.
Chris: (chris brown grins more and more) Next question please…

BHS: A longtime friendship connects you and on the MTV Awards 2007 in Las Vegas, you performed Umbrella/Cinderella together…
Chris: (chris starts to get nervous)
I really dont want to talk about her! Thats a private affair.

BHS: Okay then let’s talk about you. When you dont sing, you play Basketball!
Chris: Yes thats right. At the Age of 6 i began playing with my cousins. And in high school, I was the biggest Basketball-Freak. I just played all the time. Basketball is my biggest love, right after Music.

BHS: If it wouldn’t work out with the music, would you be a basketball pro then? (Chris laughs)
Chris: Well then I would go to college by now and do every conceivable thing to play for the NBA.

BHS: Do you even have time to play basketball?
Chris: Usually I don’t, but when i have a day off, I use the time to play with my homies.Whenever it’s possible, I go to watch games too.

BHS: Is it right that when you are on a tour you have your own portable basketball field?
Chris: Yes, on my last tour, I had one with me. That was really cool, because i could play after and before the show with my crew.

BHS: Do you have a favourite team?
Chris: First of all, the Phoneix Suns and then the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat.

BHS: How do you find the german player Dirk Nowitzki?
Chris: Man, he can play for real. He is really good. But to be honest, I didn’t know that he is german…

BHS: Can you do a slam dunk?
Chris: Yeah of course..(chris laughs)

BHS: In which position do you play?
Chris: I am Point Guard.

BHS: Soon, in the movie „Phenom“ you will play a young talented Basketballplayer…
Chris: Yes, the shooting will start this summer and I’m so happy because I’m gonna be at a basketball field every day. Thats gonna be real fun!!

BHS: have you got a favourite basketballplayer?
Chris: Michael Jordan is my big Idol,he’s so dope.

BHS: Do you like Videogames?
Chris: Sure, i got a Playstation 3, a Xbox 360, a Nintendo Wii and a PSP. I play whenever I got time. Mostly basketball games (chris laughs)

BHS: You’re such a styler. Many people copy your style. What are your favourite Labels?
Chris: Right now, I’m wearing Nike-SB-Skateboard Dunks, my shirt is from the Hollywood Label „Dissizit!“. My Jeans are Vintage. Old things are cool but they should be clean.
I also like noble designer things from Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana. But i also wear Rocker-Stuff from American Apparel, Urban Outfitters and H&M too.

BHS: How many cars do you have?
Chris: Let me superior, I think 5. A 2007 Corvette, a pimped Ford Mustang GT, a black 2007 Range Rover, a 2006 Ford Expedition and a blue Lamborghini Gallardo. It is my favourite.Soon I will buy a Mercedes S 550 and a Lamborghini Murciélago.

BHS: For being a 18-year old boy, you are really spoiled…
Chris: Thats true, im feelin so good and I enjoy it. But you should not forget that I’ve worked really hard since I was 15 for this luxury.

BHS: Do you like to share your Luxus?
Chris: Of course, I often give away presents to my homies.
I like to spoil girls mostly. I love to overwhelm girls with jewlery.
They make this flash in their eyes (chris laughs) ….

BHS: So you are romantic?
Chris: Exactly, when I really like a girl and she is something special, I surprise her with some flowers and take her out to a romantic date. I would say that I’m a lady’s man.

BHS: But youre not a player?
Chris: No, definitely not, a player is something like a male hoe (chris laughs). I like to flirt with girls when I’m in clubs, but I’m not a guy who brings home a new girl every night. I’ve had two or three girlfriends in my life and I dont wanna be a heartbreaker, I’m fair and honest to my girl but I’m not a softy,
I would say that I’m the perfect middle-thang (chris laughs)

BHS: What kind of girls do you like?
Chris: Optically, I’ve no special type that I like, she can be blond, brunette, or black.But its important to me that I can laugh with my girl, she must be cool and relaxed… like me (chris laughs) .. I think I found that girl…..
