First, Jamie needed 2 stop taking every 5 minutes to perform a song like ppl wanted to hear him sing. He was the host, not the whole show. All that time that he used to sing could’ve been used for MJ’s tribute. Jamie’s so called comedy was more than inappropriate, especially considering the theme for the Awards show. Then, BET said we were going to celebrate Michael but it looked more like a funeral to me, with the sad songs and the old friends making comments like it was a eulogy. Now the old friends would have been fine if not for the fact that not one of Michael’s songs were played. How do you celebrate an artist and not play his music or have a performance to his music? The Awards were so ridiculous, it was not a tribute to MIchael and they have ultimately failed him. BET knows that a tribute from Chris Brown, Usher, Ne-yo, Justin Timberlake, and Ciara would have saved the show. I have never seen such a boring BET Awards show in my life and I will never watch the show again.
