I listening to Steve Harvey show every morning because he is a inspirational man who has always acknowledge GOD for his goodness. But this morning I was very disappointed that he went in on Chris about the 20/20 interview. Everyone is always saying a man should never hit a woman no matter what. He said he recalls when his mother go upset a his father and hit with a hard iron cooking pan and his father did nothing. Well that’s fine and all but what if she had of hit him to where she killed him. Adults are not always right. They are teaching us to hate Chris for what he did and to love Rihanna because she was the victim. I don’t hate either to them. Chris came out from the start and admitted to the world he was wrong for what he did. He did not try to make up excuses for it, he told everyone that he is receiving counseling to become a better man, he never said a bad word about Rihanna or anyone else who down him. I don’t care what Steve Harvey or anyone else say Chris is more of a man than anyone, he stood up to world and acknowledge his wrong doing and that’s all he can do. He can’t go back and change what he has done. He can only ask for forgiveness. And you know why GOD will bless him even more is because of the simple fact that Rihanna went on national televison to make him look bad in front of the whole world, yes the whole world if you haven’t heard, abc got over a million views that night. I understand her wanting to still her story, but she did not have to go into details to make Chris look like a complete monster. She could have simply said ” he beat me, going back to him wasn’t the best decision, but we are both young and we must learn from our mistakes, if she really cared for him. And another thing I didn’t like is how Chris always said since the order of protection was order he really didn’t know how she felt about him, and this must have hurt him to his heart for her to go on national television to tell the world how she depise him. I was hurt for him. But I sooo glad Chris has strong people around him that are supporting him. After all the critizing he went through this year from all over the world, any 19 year old would have given up on their dreams, but not Christopher M. Brown. He has show young people that even though you might sometime make a wrong decision, doesn’t mean you have to give up on your dreams. Learn from the mistake and become a better person and never give up on your dream. I love you Chris, you are my inspiration.
