(I like Trey so no shade)…oh the dude who won Best Male R&B and had an average performance. But if it wasn’t Prince you were the star of that show! You even have the fan Award to prove it! It was most defiently the night of comebacks.

I was so nervous for him, but once the music came on, he just transformed to the megastar that he is. Nicely done, no one can deny that was the best MJ tribute. Still miss MJ like crazy. Ah man, this was way more then i could have hoped for. How he was able to prepare such an awesome performance in such a short period of time I will never know. Nice job.

Man CHRIS BROWN killed it. No matter what the haters say. Forget about what he did in the past. What matters is what he’s doing NOW. He’s one of the best performers in our generations. I have been on the blogs and they have been saying positive stuff of course you get those one or two commentors that are just so hateful and say something like it was awful….they are clearly delusional lol! I watched the whole show tonight (usually watch only parts of it) with my family and when Chris started to cry they started to cry. Chris you “Made us Proud” I waited until all had went to bed to let my tears of joy flow…I know that Michael Jackson is so very proud of you…I know that the Jackson family have had to wait so long for this “true” tribute; but You made it worth their wait…Outstanding.

I was raised by my Father, a real man who was left to raise six little girls by himself; and Chris I can tell you that real men do cry. My Father could have given up but he didn’t. I am so happy that you didn’t give up. My Father was a success and now we are successful and yes Chris REAL men do cry.

At BET.com they have a contest for Who rocked the Mic? at the awards tonight. lets vote for Chris, Teambreezy# all the way! I didn’t really see all of the performances, but I caught Chris’s of course and after that I don’t need to see anymore. His crying shocked me, but when its time for you to release its better to not fight it and go ahead and get it out! I know he felt so much better afterwards. Also lets not respond to the haters tomorrow cause they will be in full force stating he cried for himself, career, etc. but the devil is a liar and we should let their words bounce off of us. Cause he killed it and NO one can deny that! !

I had to check out other reviews of the show, and yes the hates are at work – but there are a LOT of supporters and wonderful comments too. MTV said the show belonged to Chris Brown, Alicia Keys and Eminem (??). I will be hunting tomorrow for more of those reviews. THE PUBLIC, THE INDUSTRY has gven recogmition to Chris again. Let’s just hope this is not a flash in the pan. Really hope.

One last tidbit before i hit the sack. MEDIA TAKE OUT gave him a nice review (and headlined him in their story). Grapejuice twitterhad lots of WWOOOWWW!!!!!!!! stuff during the performance, and suggested Trey wasn’t gonna come close to topping Chris’ performance. No comments about the tears.

People are thinking that he just cried because of publicity ? … Now if you take some few minutes and think about what the dude has been through in 2009 and till yesterday , i don’t think u can start saying his tears was unreal . If Chris was fake crying and that was planned, I expect his role in Takers to get an Oscar Nomination or at least a Golden Globe. Some ppl are so stupid and the hate in their heart overpowers the logic in the brain. Anyways congrats to him on a phenomenal performance and we finally saw the celebrities who refused to hide their support for him anymore despite what the machine/industry says. (e.g Taraji P Henson, I will watch all your movies now, even that Tyler Perry garbage, on second thought I might skip the tyler perry crap, but i will watch the rest). That performance I think finished or stalled a few careers, tough luck Jason Derulo and the other CB knock offs…… he is finally back to reclaim the throne.

I also felt his tears were sincere, but moreso for his tarnished image due to his actions almost two years ago. Maybe with all the eyes on him last night and haven gone through the constant bashing, shame and embarrassment since the incident, the emotions were too much for him to hold in anymore. I mean, his idol MJ is gone because MJ didn’t truly make the changes necessary to change his life for the better. His drug addictions finally did him in…it’s sad to say, but it’s true. If CB doesn’t make a change for the better, he might end up the same path as MJ. Hopefully that cry was just what he needed to actually move on and make the changes necessary to become a better person. He still has a lot of growing up to do, but if he sticks with the righteous path in life, then I believe he can make it through.

I’ll admit I was one of the people who despised CB after the incident. I was never a super fan of CB, but before the incident, I thought he was one of the younger entertainers who didn’t come with a slew of issues and would stay out of trouble so when he did what he did, it made me very dissappointed and angry with him as a person. I couldn’t help but take it personal because when the picture came out, it was proof that whatever altercation they had between them was one sided. By nature, I have a high sense of justice. Their altercation was in no way a “fair” fight so I sided with the person that definitely was the victim of his violence. But of course no one is perfect. I also can be quite judgemental at times, which I need to work on since I’m no angel myself. Therefore I’ll admit that I was a bit too harsh to judge him on his willingness to change and am willing to give CB the benefit of the doubt…for now. That in no way makes me condone his violent actions towards Rhianna or anyone for that matter! What it means is that I will not join in on the bashing of CB anymore.

Hopefully he can live up to his newfound expectations from the public to change his life for the better. If not for his career, then at least for himself because in the end that’s what matters most.

One word: AMAZING!!! Chris is the ONLY person fit to do a MJ tribute so I know MJ is proud. I don’t know why people are saying him crying was staged. People need to remember what he has been going through this last year and a half. I think he was not only crying about his idol but he was so happy and appreciative that he FINALLY got a chance to do his tribute and for all the love and support he was getting from the crowd and from his fans. PEREZ HILTON says that Chris felt genuine emotion at that MJ tribute and is willing to put his knives away and give Chris a chance – that is unbelievable but true . I guess that is the power of positive thinking and who Chris is as a person.

Well, although I’ve been a little sick these past two days, I guess I’ll come out of my silence for this moment. I haven’t spoken on ANY msg board in many MONTHS. I’ve had a log on with this site and visited it since ’08. I’ve only posted about 4 or 5 times last year. I use to visit the forum many months ago as well. I just had to come out of my silence to say that Chris did his thang last night (as I knew he would) and put it DOWN! I congratulated him and gave him his props on twitter that same night (hadn’t talked to much on their either). I’ve been a MJ supporter for almost 27 yrs. Lol, he was my first crush when I was a young girl back in the 80’s. I was also crazy about El Debarge (that was my husband as well lol). Shoot, El had my grown butt screaming again last night like I was 16 yrs old lol.

But, back to Chris! These past 2 weeks have been emotional for me as far as Michael goes, because I would be @ work typing or just doing anything and think about him and start feeling sorrowful having to snap myself out of it. Chris brought it home last night for Michael! The Jackson family had even asked BET last year to put Chris on for Michael’s tribute and when they didn’t some of us on the different msg boards were really upset about it. We all know that Chris REALLY wanted to do this for Michael last year and A LOT of us, even the Jackson family, felt that it was very much so appropriate that he honor him with his heartfelt talent. Chris did a BEAUTIFUL job on some of my favorite MJ songs and performances. He looked great! I had to really listen closely to tell that it was actually Chris singing “The Way You Make Me Feel” @ the beginning of the song. I loved the way they pulled off “Smooth Criminal”… that was the PERFECT concept for that song! When Chris went into one of my most favorites “Remember The Time” (that song holds special past memories for me back in the day when I was17), he took it back and got off with the dance routine (Fatima would be proud). The “Billie Jean” routine was OFF THE CHAIN! I use to love seeing Michael and Chris wear a fedora hat or slacks (loves it)! I LOVED the shoes that Chris was wearing and I also noticed the black sequenced socks that he put his own twist to apart from the white ones that Michael wore.

Okay, now for the most shocking finale OR thing that Chris has ever done…”Man In The Mirror”. That song was a very passionate song for Michael (remembering Michael perform it at one of his concerts and getting very emotional singing it himself as he went into one of his fastest and strongest spins ever before falling to his knees). The words to that song were SO personal to Michael and I’m sure they were personal to Chris as well. Just the lyrics alone “I’m gonna make a change for once in my life. It’s gonna feel real good…gonna make a difference. GONNA MAKE IT RIGHT” has so much emotion to it to start the streaming of tears. Chris broke down before he even said the first word to that song. I feel that Michael’s spirit was definitely there with Chris last night after he finished “Billie Jean” and started into “Man In The Mirror”. Michael was smiling down on him. When Chris broke down the way he did, there was no way on earth that, that wasn’t genuine! IT SHOCKED THE HECK OUTTA ME to see him cry like that! That boy broke down like I bet he does around his moma. I felt like pulling out my funeral dress for that cause dang! Wow, a heavy burden and weight was lifted off of him last night and he needed to shed those tears to release all of the feelings and emotions that he had been carrying around inside of him since last year. I just wanted to tear the whole top front of me off to give to him as a shoulder and bosom to lay his head on to rest for comfort. He had me speechless with that tribute. Very much so unexpected! Chris did Michael’s tribute JUSTICE and it was very much so long overdue. I LOVED IT and he put his WHOLE heart into it! I love and miss Michael SO MUCH. Chris brought some closure for some people as well as for himself. He did a BEAUTIFUL emotional heart felt job and he couldn’t have done it any better.

I know that I’ve done a lot of preaching to Chris since ’08. I stated in March of 2008 “Who knows what Chris might end up doing? He might just end up shocking us all!” Also, in Aug of the same year that God is protecting Chris becus he has a praying Mother, and the prayers of the righteous availeth much.

Here are some things that I said on Chrisbrownweb last year on 7/10/09.

“we should never put words out there that is meant for someone elses harm when we are actually speaking harm on ourselves, becus we don’t know what God has in store for that person. Remember, I said this on here on 6/22/09 “I will leave these scriptures for those (Christian or not): Matthew 7:1-2 Judge not, that ye be judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Romans 2: 1 THEREFORE thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself: for thou that judgest doest the same things.” It’s not what goes in a man that defiles him, it’s what comes out of a man that defiles him! We need to be looking at our own lives and wondering if we are living in the will of God and trying to DO and SAY what is right! You never know who is watching you and it is what God thinks of you not man! God will indeed make your enemies your foot stool and in the end make them eat crow. I KNOW that some of them did with Michael. We always hate that that we do not understand. In my opinion Chris’s career was NEVER over and I don’t think he EVER left the scene! God knows what he is doing and Chris has many more years ahead of him. I still haven’t forgotten what I told him this more than a yr ago and that I still have a feeling that he might just end up shocking us all. I’m sure he remembers reading this. But, the choice is his as to how he will let God lead his life (as far as being different from everything else out there) and to be a light for him through the music and talent that God gave to him like Michael did but as Chris. He still has MANY MANY years of singing ahead if he keeps GOD FIRST!

God has HUGE things in store for Chris which is why his life has taken on a new chapter. He may not understand this now and not know what God is doing with him but TRUST he will in due time and I KNOW that some people will end up eating crow once God gets through. God is just trynna get Chris’s attention in who he ACTUALLY made him to be. Chris just needs to be TRUE to God and to himself as we all do! Chris has a praying mother and I know God hears her prayers! We just need to WORK OUT OUR OWN SOUL SALVATION and let God deal with others. ARE WE RIGHTEOUS IN THE SIGHT OF GOD AS HE CALLED ABRAHAM RIGHTEOUS BECUS OF HIS FAITH? We all may have our opinions on certain people, but let God deal with them!”

LAST YEAR ON 7/20/09:

“God has our path already set up for us and I can assure you (based on experience) that in due time, you will look back on some things that happened in your life and know EXACTLY why it happened. I can DEFINITELY assure you this! I know that you want to do what is right, but all God ask of you and us is to AT LEAST TRY and he will do the rest. He just needs to see that commitment from you. He knows that we need his help becus we will always be tested and tried. Man, if you only knew the HUGE plans that God has for you. He looks at the heart and he also sometimes enables some of his people to see another person’s heart. I KNOW that you have a good heart which is why I’ve always been around. God wants his people to also be long suffering, and believe me, he has DEFINITELY TAUGHT me that. Because of my lifestyle and who I am, I can LOVE man and ONLY support his good works or anything that he does or sings about that is DECENT, POSITIVE, UPLIFTING, AND NOT DEGRADING to that of MAN nor WOMAN… anything else is contrary to the spirit of God for my life! The performance wasnt amazing, it wasnt great, it was PHENOMENAL!! i cant even explain the emotions that i was taken over with. I love yooh Chris, with all my heart and soul. And i really honor and admire yooh!! i Loved the acceptance speech, although like ive been sayin for a while…yooh shouldnt need to apologize to the world a million times babe…but it’s okayy. I personally, respect yooh more, each and everytime yooh do. Keep doin yooh babe! “MUAWW!” Can’t wait until yooh come back to Dallas, Tx. =)
