I am glad that he is not going to jail. I am also glad the judge issued a stay away order, although Rihanna did not want the order.

I don’t know what to say. I am glad this legal crap is over, but I don’t like that he has to spend 6months in VA cleaning up. I guess that means we aren’t getting a CD this summer. 5 years probation is A LOTTTTT. I know of people who have done worst and only got 3. As for as the hard labor community service…he doesn’t have to go everyday, but he will have to go probably at least twice a week. Some people I know just want to get it over with so they go as much as possible. I’m GLAD it’s OVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! I still think they should’ve put stupid ass on that stand though…she got off.

you know, I just heard something that made me love Chris more. He wanted to plead guilty at first, but his lawyer told him it wasn’t a good time so he pled not guilty. I think Chris honestly blames himself for what happened because he swore he would never hit a woman and he probably regrets that he didn’t just walk away. And he’s probably beating himself up cause he probably thinks he failed his mom or something. But yeah, though we’re all over here saying “Fuck that, she deserved it! I was curious as to what Rihanna was going to say about the incident, but she was told her services weren’t needed after Chris received his convictions and exited the courtroom. In spite of that God spared his life without Rihanna’s testimony so he wouldn’t have to step foot in jail. After all isn’t that what most of us fans wanted and prayed for – for him to NOT go to jail? I know we were hoping the charges would’ve been dropped and he wouldn’t have a Felony on his record, but our prayers have been answered, ladies! It’s out of our control as to what he should have been convicted of or not convicted of. So be happy.

Belive it or not Chris, actually, got a fair deal compared to going to jail for 4 years and some months. So if he’s on probation for 5 years, has to do clean up work for 180 days, enroll in a domestic violence program, and stay 50 yards (10 yards if in the same venue) away from Rihanna, then that is better than time in jail. A couple of you are displeased with the judge’s decision but, THINK, this is the same judge who COULD HAVE given him the 4 years and called it a day. But he/she did not.

I’m not knowledgable on California or Virginia law but for those who are, could Chris’ convictions be reduced on good behavior? If so, as long as Chris continues to comply with his orders given to him, then he should be alright.

At first I didn’t think that was the smartest movr but I did some research and I want all the fans to calm down its not as bad as it sounds. After he complete his probation time he can have his record expunged and he can also have his right to vote restored after a felony conviction. The judge can even knock the charges to a misdermeanor. Hello you guys. I always come to the site but I never post anything.Well today I am. As with everyone else I regret that her true side was not presented, but I am thankful thAT HE DID NOT GO TO JAIL. What some people may not understand is that in some states hard labor means just that. My uncle is a corrections officer in the state of MS and some of their hard labor is in the fields in the heat. Hopefully this is not the case with him. I believe that through all of this he has become a stronger MAN that will make wise decisions as before and from this point on. The only thing that i hate is that it happenend to him so young. I know that a lot of people on here do not like talking about HER but it kinda hurt when he dropped his head when the stay order was given even after her attorney did not want it. I also could not overlook the smirk she had on her face at the end. She has planned to destroy him all along.However, KARMA IS A BITCH. I love the stay order, the more he away from her the more he can heal and continue his life. He has always been on top and will always be on top. I am now praying and fasting for his mental health to help deal with what has happened. I know that many people did not want him to take a gulity plea but geragos stated that he wanted to do the responsible thing. I admire him for that. Geragos stated that he still wanted him to stay quiet for a while but I believe that he will talk and do it in a manner that is appropriate. Hopefully he will explain to us,his fans, what his part was in the ordeal. However I do believe that it was not as bad as the media portrayed him. When he does talk, Miss RiRi will not be able play victim anymore because I know he will tell the truth because he has already accepted his part in this ordeal. He will receive even more love than he could imagine and from those who finally see her for what she is. Maybe the smirk that she gave will help. Chris, continue to stay strong. God is not through blessing you. You don’t see this as probably a blessing but it is. I am praying for you and your family each day. You will make it through. I know because I made it through hard times and broken hearts, and God blessed me with a KING. One day he will bless you will your QUEEN.

The best thing that came out of all this other than no jailtime is he is to have no contact with her for the next six weeks. We know her lawyer begged almost on his knees that the order not be in place. Then the judge will revisit the order. She looked shock when the judge told her not to call him either and violate the order. She did not expect that. This will keep away the texting and phone calls and give him time for himself without the hassle. He can enjoy being young again without the excess shadow and not be afraid to smile.

Keep your head up, Chris. Do what the judge told you and this story will fade away. Focus on your family and your new album.

I really think Chris career isn’t over because if he gets on people’s good side again then everyone will start forgiving him, but it’s going to take some time. He’s Lucky she agreed to the plea deal . she has to agree to the plea deal for it to go through. I guess she didn’t want him going to prison. I guess the evidence was too strong that’s why he did not want to risk trial and going to jail ,because it would be sure jail time.
