For everyone out there who wished curses upon BET last year for the arguably shabby BET Awards — turned “Honors” ceremony after news broke that Pop legend Michael Jackson died just days before the music ceremony was to take place — should be very please with this tidbit I found out about Sunday night’s illustrious event.
Word on the street, from a VERY reliable source, is that powers that be have reached out to current embattled Pop star Chris Brown to bless the stage and pay homage to his musical idol in conjunction with the anniversary of his passing.
Details surrounding the super secretive surprise are being guarded, so I don’t have much on what exactly Chris will perform, but let’s be honest this opportunity could save both my new networks home in the eyes of the public, and Chris who is currently in the fight of his life every since that debacle almost a year and a half ago.
