At 20, pop star Chris Brown is not old enough to buy a beer without breaking the law. But he got himself into a world of legal trouble when he assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna in February.
“We have to be like 10 yards away from each other,” Brown told CNN’s Larry King in an exclusive that airs Wednesday night, his first television interview since the arrest.
Brown said he still loves singer Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty.
But, he added, it is tough for him to look at the photo showing Rihanna’s battered face, the one image that might haunt and define him forever.

Brown, 20, surprised guests at West Hollywood hot spot Guys and Dolls For a Personal Appearance with an impromptu performance of Michael Jackson’s “Dirty Diana,” Usmagazine.com has confirmed.
“He stood up on the back of the booth when the song came on, got a mic and not only sung, but danced his a– off,” clubgoer Cory Honickman tells Us. “It was insane and no one could look away. He is incredibly talented.”
When he finished, Brown told the crowd, “There was only one King of Pop. We love you, Michael.”
Chris Brown sat down with Larry King in his first interview since his February 8th arrest for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, and ET has the details about the interview that will air next week.
The R&B star spoke to the talk show host at CNN’s studios in Los Angeles, and Brown’s mother Joyce Hawkins was also there as well as his attorney Mark Geragos.
A source tells ET that Brown’s mother got very emotional and started to cry during the interview.
Brown’s “Larry King Live” interview will air Wednesday September 2, at 6 p.m. on CNN

Chris Brown heads to the recording studio in West Hollywood, California this afternoon, August 25, 2009

Message From Mama Joyce Via Fanclub
“I just want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you for your continued support. I’m sorry I wasn’t allowed to speak to anyone as this case was on going. I can now say this has been the most painful moment in my entire life, but knowing that you were still standing by Chris side in his time of need made this a little easier for us. Because of all your prayers God brought him through. I just want to say God has never failed me and never will. All moms and dads please stand by your children and pray for their goodness each and everyday. Chris and I love you so much, as the tears fall from my eyes and the pain lingers in my heart I still say thank you God, thank you thank you almighty God. If any of you wonder why I continue to speak of God it’s because I know no other way. I made a promise to him I would never be ashamed of him no matter where I am or who I talk to. You see this whole thing isn’t about Chris it’s about God. He wants to show all of you the goodness of him through Chris. Chris will be addressing all of his fans very soon. We love you so much and so does God. ”
Thank you.

So Chris rep says it was recorded sometime ago
here is the article!
New Chris Brown Song, ‘Changed Man,’ Hit The NetWhile lyrics seem to reference Rihanna, Brown’s rep says song was actually recorded ‘some time ago.’
Yet another unreleased song purported to be Chris Brown’s first single from his upcoming album, Graffiti, leaked onto to the Web this week, this one titled “Changed Man.” The song’s regret-tinged lyrics could be construed as an apology to Rihanna.
“What do you do when the truth isn’t quite enough/ They looking at you telling you that we need to break it up,” Brown sings on the melancholy track. “You need to do what you do, it’s me and you in love/ But I’mma make it up to you and show the world I’m a changed man.”
The three-minute track details Brown pledging his devotion and trying to atone for his mistakes.
A rep for Brown’s label, Jive Records, however, told MTV News on Friday (August 14) that the song was actually recorded “some time ago.”
Brown has been working on his next album, Graffiti, tentatively scheduled for a release by the end of the year; no new material from the project has been released yet. “Changed Man” will not be the first single, according to the rep.
In June, two songs leaked, one titled “Smash” and the other one “Not My Fault,” that caused a stir. “Not My Fault” lead many to think that was an apology ode, but a rep confirmed the songs were demo tracks that were not intended for release.
“Countering misleading reports of ‘new’ Chris Brown music: there are no ‘new’ songs from Chris Brown currently being promoted by Chris or his record label,” a representative for Jive Records said in a statement at the time. “There are several old demos circulating that are being falsely promoted as new material from Chris.”
